Mr. Karthik is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of experience spanning Automotive Electronics, Driving Simulation and Road Safety Solutions, Industrial Automation, and Software Systems. He began his career in embedded R&D and progressed through technical leadership roles to become Director of Technical R&D, reflecting a career built on deep engineering expertise, execution excellence, and innovation-led growth.

He is also the Chairperson of Pathavan Solutions, where he has led the development of advanced automotive simulation technologies. Mr. Karthik is recognized as a key architect behind the conceptualization, development, and commercialization of driving simulators, successfully taking products from research and prototyping through validation, industrialization, and market adoption—well ahead of mainstream acceptance.

Holding over 30 patented innovations, Mr. Karthik brings a strong intellectual property mindset and long-term R&D vision to the organization. His work extends beyond commercial technology into road safety education, where he actively promotes structured learning programs for school children, reinforcing his commitment to societal impact alongside business growth.

Mr. Karthik holds academic qualifications in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, and Psychology, and is a Lead Auditor for ISO 39001:2012 Road Traffic Safety Management Systems, strengthening Vertex’s governance, compliance, and safety leadership.
