Car Driving Simulator

Vertex Car Training Simulators are designed to achieve a high level of immersion that allows training in a safe and efficient environment. Car Simulator has a pedagogical plan that can be adapted based on the needs of each client, and it is integrated within the software ecosystem so that it is possible to view telemetry in real time and manage the student's session from the instructor position or to review and analyse the session reports later from the online platform. Vertex Car Simulator provides the solution for both entry-level and advanced-level training, evaluation, and driver refurbishment.

Car Driving Simulator Software Features

Driving Scenario

Car Simulator helps you in Focused terrains are developed for effective training. LMV Simulator has different scenarios for different categories like basic training, vehicle controls, traffic participation, special circumstances, safety awareness, and driver evaluation. We provide different terrains like urban, village, highway, market area, hilly, and hazardous situation terrains.

Training Modules

Vertex provides effective training modules following the CMVR Rules like Vehicle Controls, Pre-Driving Checks, Holding Steering Wheel, Gear Changing, Beginning to Drive, Manoeuvres, Slopping, Stopping Distance, Following Distance, Defensive Driving Techniques, Night Driving, Hill Driving, Emergency manoeuvres, Special circumstance, Driving Impairments, Echo Driving and Evaluation test. For other Countries we Follow International Standards on their country regulations.

Evaluation Report

Observing the student's Car Driving Skills, Driving Behaviour in Different Simulated Situations, Road Rule Violations, and Obeying Road Signs, and their behaviour and attitude towards driving patterns in different situations, we automatically generate the evaluated reports once he completes every lesson. Car Driving Simulator also provides a playback option to understand their mistakes during evaluation.

Different Weather Condition

Riders can experience a real climatic change in Full HD or 4k Resolution on the terrains. The operators or pre-programmed AI can enable trainee in different climates like Fog, Rain, Sunny, Snow, Sunset & Sunrise, Desert and combination of any two conditions.

Autodidacticism Guidance

The consistency of the training is depended upon the Trainer but vertex facilitate the simulator with the self-teaching Trainer to provide the effective guidance and monitoring the Rider behaviour and driving pattern. This Artificial Trainer identify the Rider mistakes and warn the rider and evaluate his performance.

Car Driving Simulator Hardware Features

Driving Station

It consists of the original OEM components of the LMV Simulator in order to feel the real touch and feel of the car. The hand control systems like indicators, high/low beam, horn, accelerator, brake, and clutch remain the same as in a car. Vertex car simulator station has different models and different applications according to the customer's requirements.

Display System

Our display system is depending upon the customer option. We usually have 3 displays allow a 210-horizontal field of view vision which gives a good overview on intersections. Each display has a rear-view mirror. Also, a top view gives a good overview of road position. Maximum resolution is 1920×1080 (HD) for each channel. Customized screen Resolution can be done on 8k maximum.

Sound System

In space-constrained designs, one of the better solutions is a 2.1 configuration, which we use stereo satellites for mid and high frequencies and a single subwoofer for low frequencies. This application note presents a highly efficient, low-cost 2.1 solution, which provides 2 x 12W and 1 x 18W of output power.

Instructor Station

Instruction station controls provide Rider database and their attendance, allows to select different scenarios and exercises, Record and replay of rider driven, create Evaluation reports, control different weather conditions, calibrating the Foot and Hand controls and Cloud management systems.

Motion System

To attain a complete sensation of immersion, Vertex outfits a platform with 2 or 3 degrees of freedom that simulates the movements that occur while the user is driving. This can we done either for driver seat or for complete Cockpit station.

Certification of Product

As global markets grow and expand, there are more consumers seeking safe, reliable, and, increasingly, eco-conscious products. With both international and local proficiency, the certification from Intertek brings the qualifications that customer buy the products from vertex.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a car training simulator, and how does it work?

A car training simulator is a computer-based system designed to mimic the experience of driving a car in a virtual environment. The simulator uses software and hardware to create a realistic driving experience, complete with a steering wheel, pedals, and other controls. The simulator is connected to a computer that runs the software, which generates a 3D virtual environment and provides feedback to the driver through the hardware.

What are the benefits of using a car simulator?

There are several benefits of using a car training simulator, including increased safety, reduced training costs, and improved training effectiveness. Simulators allow drivers to practice in a safe and controlled environment, without the risks associated with real-world driving. They can also save time and money by reducing the need for real-world training and providing immediate feedback to drivers.

How realistic are car training simulators compared to real-world driving?

Car simulators have become increasingly realistic in recent years, with advancements in software and hardware technology. Modern simulators can simulate a wide range of driving conditions, including different weather and road conditions, and can provide accurate feedback to drivers. However, there are still some differences between simulators and real-world driving, such as the lack of physical feedback and the inability to fully replicate the experience of driving on real roads.

What types of driving skills can be learned or improved using a car training simulator?

Car training simulators can be used to learn and improve a wide range of driving skills, including basic driving techniques, defensive driving, emergency manoeuvres, and advanced driving techniques. Simulators can also be used to practice specific scenarios, such as driving in heavy traffic or adverse weather conditions.

Can car simulators replace real-world driving training entirely?

While car simulators can provide a safe and effective way to learn and practice driving skills, they cannot fully replace real-world driving training. Real-world training is still necessary to develop certain skills, such as spatial awareness and judgement, that can only be learned through experience. Additionally, simulators cannot fully replicate the physical and emotional challenges of driving on real roads, such as dealing with distractions or handling unexpected situations.
