Fabrication - Shift Incharge:
Key Responsibilities:
1.Shift Operations Management
- Supervise all fabrication activities (cutting, welding, bending, assembly, etc.).
- Ensure production targets are met as per daily plan.
- Monitor machine performance and minimize downtime.
2.Manpower Handling
- Monitor attendance and discipline during the shift.
- Allocate work to operators and helpers.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance.
3.Quality Control
- Ensure fabrication work meets drawing specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality department for inspections.
- Reduce rejection and rework levels.
4.Material & Inventory Control
- Monitor raw material usage and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with Stores for material availability.
- Maintain shift production records.
5.Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily production reports.
- Record breakdowns and corrective actions.
- Communicate shift handover details clearly.
Qualification:
Diploma or Engineering in Mechanical
Experience:
- 2–7 years of experience in fabrication or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in supervisory role preferred.
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of fabrication drawings.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Basic knowledge of welding processes ( MIG ).
- Problem-solving ability.
